A Cone Crusher Sand Plant is a facility designed for producing aggregates (sand, gravel, crushed stone). In this system, a cone crusher is used to reduce large and hard rocks into smaller sizes. It typically operates in the secondary or tertiary crushing stage for sand production.
How It Works?
Feeding: Large rocks are fed into the cone crusher’s top-mounted feed hopper.
Crushing Process: Rocks are compressed between the rotating mantle (conical structure) and fixed concave (inner wall), breaking them into smaller pieces.
Sizing: Crushed material passes through screens at the bottom of the crusher to separate it into desired sand sizes (0-5 mm, 5-15 mm, etc.).
Washing (Optional): Additional washers may be used to clean the sand.
Storage: The final product is transported to stockpiles or directly to transport vehicles.
